The combination of Balmoral's elegant comfortable cabins, world class cuisine and diverse on board activities has been designed to appeal particularly to the rapidly expanding British cruise market.

The perfect place to relax after a hard day sightseeing or lounging in the sun! The Lido Bar looks out over the aft pool and the stern of the ship and is the ideal spot to dance the night away with the on board pianist or musical duo. Our bar staff are always on hand to serve a whole array of exotic cocktails, beers, spirits or something refreshing and non-alcoholic.

This small lounge is the ideal place to relax before entering the Neptune Lounge for the nightly show. The Lounge is the place to sit and watch the world go by or to grab a sneaky forty winks after lunch.

Like your own local, this is the ideal place for socializing with friends old and new. The Morning Light Pub will be decorated in a traditional style and depict the century and a half history of Fred. Olsen. Sample guest beers and real ale, and be entertained by occasional live jazz musicians or stand-up comedians.

The Neptune Lounge is the place to head after enjoying your evening meal. With shows, reviews and evenings of cabaret guaranteed to have you shouting encore. Take your seat in the Neptune Lounge as the sun goes down and experience the music, dancing, lights and costumes. Choose to enjoy a cabaret act, stand-up comedian, or dance the night away to a live band.

Set at the forward end of the ship, this lounge allows you a panoramic view of your journey, or the port you are staying in that day. The large windows in The Observatory afford fantastic views which are enhanced with plenty of binoculars spaced around the lounge. A grand piano provides the perfect background music as you enjoy a pre-dinner drink or you can dance into the small hours upon the glass dance floor.

This beautifully designed restaurant provides a fantastic setting to enjoy a fabulous meal. Although offering the same menu as her sister restaurant, the Spey, the intimate nature of the Avon restaurant gives her a unique dining atmosphere.

Evenings assume an air of dignity, from the lavish affairs that are the Captain's Dinner to less formal evenings. Menus are varied and mouth-watering. The stylish Ballindalloch restaurant is the main restaurant on Balmoral, where your taste buds will be tempted by the fantastic dishes on offer. Whether it's a formal night or one of our special theme nights you will be assured of a wonderful atmosphere as you enjoy your meal.

Enjoy a more casual lunch al-fresco before relaxing again in the sun.

For a lunchtime snack or if you don't feel like dressing for one of our formal nights, the Palms Cafe offers a delicious buffet. This restaurant is self-service, but the standard is as good as in the main restaurants. This is a little less formal if you wish to just pop along whenever you feel hungry, rather than waiting for the set dining times.

The tastefully decorated Spey Restaurant is the place where you are assured of a good meal. Here your taste buds will be tantalized by the fantastic and huge choice of dishes freshly prepared by our award winning chefs.
