Ocean Countess
A new fleet mate!
We are proud to welcome the Ocean Countess to the Cruise & Maritime Voyages fleet. In preparation for her debut programme of cruises from the British Isles, following a 3 million dollar refurbishment programme including re-theme and naming of her public lounges, some upgrading of her cabin accommodations with new furnishings in addition to the installation of flat screen televisions. With her distinctive traditional profile, the 17,593grt Ocean Countess has seven passenger decks, a generous amount of deck space, is stabilized and air conditioned throughout, she accommodates about 800 passengers.
All deck areas will have been refreshed and public rooms including the dining room updated to enhance the ship's warm, friendly atmosphere. prior to joining us in Spring 2010. She began service as the popular Cunard Countess and at the time became one of the best-known ships to sail the Caribbean Sea and a favorite on the British market. Ocean Countess will operate year round sailings from six different British ports including Hull, Newcastle, Edinburgh, Leith, Greenock, Liverpool, and Plymouth bringing cruising closer to home and added convenience for many of our new and past passengers.
EUROPE

Most Northern European cruises can show you the Scandinavian peninsula, Baltic states, and the Netherlands on a seven to fifteen day cruise. You'll tour historic sights and see beautiful landscapes. And since you're cruising, you'll enjoy unlimited first-rate cuisine and you'll have a range of activities available to you while you're not exploring the sights. Cruises in Northern Europe often depart from Copenhagen, Stockholm, Amsterdam, or London. Ships sailing to this destination also make time to see Helsinki, Finland; Tallinn, Estonia; and Oslo, Norway.

Please note that Marco Polo is child-free and therefore for the enjoyment of adult passengers only (16 years and above at the time of sailing). There are no dedicated recreational facilities for children aboard Ocean Countess, but nevertheless accompanied children and teenagers under the age of 18 at the date of sailing are of course welcome aboard and, when occupying a third or fourth berth in a cabin with two full fare paying passengers, travel at a beneficial rate. Children and teens under the age of 18 at the date of sailing but occupying a twin cabin with just one accompanying adult are charged at the full adult fare.
